«دیالوگ دراماتیک در قرآن کریم»، به تحلیل آیات سوره‌های قرآن با رویکردی گفتمانی می‌پردازد، تا با ارائۀ چارچوبی دقیق و جامع برای دیالوگ به مثابۀ گفتمان، کلیۀ تعاملات گفتاری قرآن کریم را مقایسه، تحلیل و طبقه‌بندی کند. برای مطالعه و تقسیم‌بندی دیالوگ‌های قرآن کریم در پژوهش پیش‌رو، قرار‌گرفتن تعاملات گفتاری مشتمل‌بر حداقل یک رفت‌وبرگشت، در چارچوبهای تعیین‌کنندۀ گفتمان دراماتیک به‌عنوان رویکرد و شیوۀ پژوهشی محوری در نظر گرفته شده‌است. به‌علاوه چون قرآن کریم اساساً متنی روایی است و نه دراماتیک، در این کتاب ضمن تمرکز بر تعاملات گفتاری در قرآن، بر وجود یا عدم‌وجود شاخص‌های دراماتیک نیز تمرکز شده‌است. از سویی دیگر، این کتاب ضمن سنجش برخورداری تعاملات گفتاری قرآن کریم از شاخص‌های دراماتیک به صدق یک شرط محوری نیز پرداخته شده که همانا نمایشی‌بودن یا قابلیت نمایشی‌شدن است.
نویسنده در این کتاب به این نتیجه می‌رسد که، شاید قدرت نهفته در دیالوگ است که آن را به یکی از پررنگ‌ترین شیوه‌های بیانی قرآن کریم بدل کرده است. در این کتاب مقدس، استفاده از کلام مستقیم، بیش از سایر روش‌ها به چشم می‌خورد؛ کلام مستقیمی که در بسیاری موارد از قالب یک‌سویه خارج شده و شکلی رفت‌وبرگشتی به خود گرفته است.
کتاب پیش‌رو از دو فصل تشکیل شده‌است که متعاقب مقدمه و پیشگفتار، در فصل نخست پس از تبیین تعاریف، مفاهیم، ساختار و کارکرد‌های دیالوگ، بر گفتمان و دیالوگ به مثابۀ گفتمان تمرکز شده است. سپس در فصل بعدی، آیات قرآن کریم با تکیه بر چارچوبهای نظری مطروح در فصل پیشین تحلیل و بررسی شده‌اند و در پی آن در مؤخره، مروری اجمالی بر نتایج به دست‌آمده از این پژوهش صورت پذیرفته‌است.
