مجموعه مستند «آقا مرتضی» به عنوان اولین مجموعه مستند جامع درباره زندگی شهید مرتضی آوینی، با الهام از کتاب «زندگی زیباست» که توسط سیدعباس سیدابراهیمی در سال 90 تالیف شده، ساخته شده است.

مجموعه مستند 7 قسمتی «آقا مرتضی» شامل تصاویر و روایت‌هایی از دوران کودکی، دانشگاه، پس از انقلاب، روایت فتح و در نهایت شهادت سید مرتضی آوینی در 20 فروردین 1372 است.
